4L60e will not upshift at WOT
#43
I'm in central..Daytona/Orlando area. Like I said my trans guy who I just paid $1500 for a rebuild is telling me he's "100% sure it's not a trans problem because the computer isnt commanding the shift, my tuner who i just paid for a retune is telling me he's 100% positive it's not his tune. I know it can't be in the tune, because it's not upshifted with 3 different tunes(original tune later, re tune and stock tune)it being something in the trans I don't know.

No it does not! I went for a drive today and with my iphone speedometer app..the app says 65 and speedometer says 80 same as with my tuned pcm. Cars are really passing me while speedo says 80 and the app is dead on with my corvettes speedo. As speed increases the more off it is. When I originally drove my car out of the trans shop I only drove about 20 miles and drove on the street I didn't notice the speedometer was off. I then parked the car removed my pcm and sent it out for the tune...when I got the pcm back is when I noticed it so I automatically assumed the tuner screwed something up. That being the case could this be the VSS and will it fix it if I get a new one?

Well you're right about one thing...it wasn't the VSS I changed it speedo is still reading 15mph high at 65. How is the stock pcm going to throw my speedometer off 15 mph? Tee speedometer being off is more than likely my problem of why the car is not shifting at WOT

Some one is not adjusting the tables right.
The tire size, and rear gears. All Needs to match the mph numbers in the wot tables. Also the command rpm wot shift needs to be reached as well. If it was ttuned to shift at 6500 and say 47mph with 3.73 gears and a 26" tire. And you change the gear or tire. All the values won't add up. In order for it to shift wot from 1-2 or 2-3 all areas need to be reached.

Don't have the tune file..I sent it to pcmforless. Whatever the tune file is for a stock pcm that's what I have also...speedo is off 15mph at 80 with that one too.
