Default Removing rear o2's without tune?

What will happen? I'm doing a lot of small things over the next couple of weeks and am planning on buying some form of tuning software after all is done, but I figured while I have the car in the air I'd like to pull the rear o2's and use the bungs for wideband o2's.

Pulling the rears will not effect the running of the auto, will throw a code unless turned off with a tune or use simolaters, you may use the hole for wideband if no cats/gutted cats.
you may buy a bung at parts supplier if you want to weld in a differant bung in front of cat ( ask for spark plug spacer for a oil burning engine )

Your SES light will come on and you will need to delete them from the PCM, other than that you should be good to go.

But driving it WITHOUT turning them off threw a tune will not hurt anything, right? Just through a CEL?

It won't damage anything.
