Default Mail Order Tune: Need your input

I've done my fair share of reading and everyone tends to shy away from the mail order tunes (for good reason I suppose). I have a brand new stock LS6 crate engine installed and I was looking for some recommendations about who to send my PCM/ECM to for a decent, initial tune just to get it running (i.e. smog delete, VATS delete, fan setup, rear O2 sensors delete, etc...)

If the engine had some miles on it already, I'd get it dyno tuned right off the bat, but as of now, I feel a little uncomfortable taking a new engine up to 6500 rpm for an initial tune.

I'm an ECM noob, so any info would be appreciated! Thanks guys!

I wouldn't be too worried. Its a stock motor. I was spraying a 150rwhp shot on a bolt on lq4 in my car with out any worries on a mail order. But I'm not saying to do that. A mail order for a stock ls6 shouldn't be a problem what so ever. If your concerned after you get it broken in put it on a dyno with a wide
band.

^^ +1 .. Mail order tunes are no big deal if you're just wanting to get it running.. If you're looking to get it into higher rpms i would get a wide band OR go to a shop with a dyno where they can tell you your A/F ratio's... IF you are concerned with the tune that is
