I ordered an AEM UEGO today. The price was definitely right. I am not a computer tuner. I only need something that will be able to alert me if either my n20 solenoid or fuel solenoid have issues. I think pretty much any wideband can handle that task (except for my Autometer, it refuses to stay functioning).

Thanks for all the feedback though guys.

Be better to have a fuel pressure safety switch. If your fuel solenoid gave out half way down the track chances are you wouldn't see it quick enough to prevent a lean out.

In my experience, a FPSS is nothing but an intermittent pain in the ***... But thanks for the suggestion.

Can I run the NGK all the time with a round gauge for my a pilar pod? It looks like all the ones I see come with a square box readout. Also, who is this best to order it from?

I would like to retract my sentiment about how crappy I thought the Autometer wideband was. It worked great til I had issues. I assumed the issues were bad sensors or EMI. Upon dis assembly and inspection, the harness had been scorched by my header primaries in the one place I couldnt see the wiring. If the harness was not damaged, I feel that the setup would work flawlessly. Either way, the new AEM has been installed and is working perfectly.

A lot of wideband controllers in the aftermarket are still using Bosch LSU 4.2 wideband sensors, which have been obsolete in the auto industry for a long time.
All professional tunners have switched to LSU 4.9 sensors; the new gen of Bosch WBO2.
LSU 4.9 has a lot of advantages than 4.2. One example: with a LSU 4.9, you do not need to do "free air calibrations", which is a flaw of the design of 4.2.

Innovate, I mean it just seems excessive, it angered me, I currently have it rigged to a stereo harness, not the best but it works.

Glad I found this thread as I am purchasing a WB this week. Think I'll go ahead and pull the trigger in the NGK setup. Now to figure out where the hell to mount the thing with stock manifolds/cats removed on a C5.

I use the LM-1 because its great to move from car to car. The 3737 sensor suck at $75 bucks each and only least me 3 month at a time.

I bought the LM-2 just in case im in the middle of a tune and it craps out on me, but I never use it and should just sell it.

Ill just go to the NGK when the LM-1 dies.
