PCM bad?
Ok so I bought a jet programmer for my 02 ws6. I bought it because I have 3.73 gears now and wanted to change that and my shift points. Well I went to the track to see if the performance tune did anything so I programs it on. Them came home and tried to go back to stock settings it ended up saying error 32 and now my car won't start and it says it won't connect PCM needs serviced. What does this mean?

It means the PCM needs serviced. You probably disconnected the power source while it was writing, or something similar. A complete rewrite with HPT or EFI is worth a shot, or a tech 2 may be able to recover it. If not, you need a new PCM.

Then I called jet programming and they just acted like it was fine and it's my cars fault and told me just take it to dealership and it will unlock it. And this is all after he argued with me about the programmer he said they don't make one for a 02 trans am haha

I've tried researching online, and I came across a forum post mentioning similar issues with a bad PCM. It seems like it could be the culprit, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm hoping someone here can provide some guidance on how to diagnose and confirm if my PCM is indeed malfunctioning.
If it is the PCM, are there any recommended steps I can take to resolve the issue? Is it possible to repair or reprogram the PCM, or will I need to replace it entirely? I'm also curious about the cost involved in either scenario.

With a little knowledge from around here, a junk yard made bench wire harness, a Bluetooth read / write module and the use of Tuner Pro RT with PCM Hammer, you could fix it yourself.
