Default car wants 30% increase in VE after FAST intake

over the winter I swapped a fast intake out for an ls1 intake, and finally got to driving it this weekend. loging my AFRs using HPtuners shows that it is almost 30% lean everywhere under load. Has anyone else experienced this? I will upload my tune after work if any one wants to see if I am blatently missing something. Thanks in advance.

Info on the car:
1970 El Camino
1999 5.3 with 215 trick flow heads
224/230 comp cam
tko 500 trans
ported Fast 90 with a 90mm fast dbc throttle body
35 lb injectors

Sounds like a vacuum leak, 30% everywhere is more than a little excessive. Did you use the shorter headed valley cover bolts?

Yes I have the shorter valley cover bolts in and I followed the proper intake torquing sequence

If all you did was change the intake, its a vacuum leak... might be cracked if you bought it used...
