efilive is only for logging... if you get the bidirectional abilities it won't let you modify all of the tables and it's only instantaneous... disconnect the laptop and you're back to stock tune.
HP Tuners and LS1 Edit both allow you to tune your car...
HP Tuners comes w/a logging software so you can try to tune on your own (won't be as good as tuning on a Dyno though) w/out having to buy EFI Live or autotap
LS1 Edit does the same as HP Tuners but less... (HP Tuners does more... use the search there hare lots of threads on these items already) and needs some sort of logging software too (EFI Live, AUtotap, EASE)
