wow yea thats about three times quicker than mine starts lol. care to tell me what all you changed?
also i started having a new problem today, the afr is reading like 15 to 18 at cruising speeds, car sounds fine and if i mash the gas it drops to 12ish, the fuel table says it needs to be about 14 and i have closed loop and compensation turned on but it never gets down that low, im wondering if i may have an exhaust manifold leak or somethin causing it to read that, this mornin i turned closed loop and compensation off and it came and went in spurts it would read 14 ish for a while then sometimes it would jump to like 16.5 to 17. now this was very low load goin down the freeway but i still think that its too high?? anything i can check? also can anyone suggest somewhere i can learn the basics of tuning, i understand most of it i just dont know how to go about actually doing it?

Sounds like your map is a little choppy. Mine was doing that also I cleaned the map up and it drives much better. I don't transfer from the learn table anymore. I think this is what messes it up a little.

I have found as soon as syncs it should start if the cranking fuel is correct

Here is what I would do. Open a stock ls2 tune and copy the map for the area you are not under boost. This should gave you something nice and smooth to start with then let the closed loop correct from there. My map is going to be way to fat and way different being na.

The stock map should be very close. Cut and paste the whole thing to your file and try that. That map is for a engine making 350 hp so add to it as needed if you are making 450 or what ever. Don't transfer from the learn table

RNation0001,

How long have you been driving it in learn mode? Mine afr was all over the place until about 50 miles of driving. The best thing i did for mine was make 3 dyno runs that seemed to dial it in really good. Im no expert just my experience.

Mine starts slow too, but post your results when you solve the problem.

Getting it to sync quick is what you need to be looking at. On the laptop as soon as mine sees rpm is fires.

Mine is very quick for some reason.

one thing to try is go to custom in the ignition setup and turn off the cam sensor. This will change it to batch fire and may help it start faster.

ok this mornin i tried it before i went to work and it started again lol, one other thing i forgot to mention was last night i noticed the holley gauge for cts would freak out every now and then and max out then min out then go right back to reading the right temp. i did a log of it idling and it shows the afr target as a straight line and the actual goin up and down from say 12 to 16 super rapidly so quickly that until i logged it i couldnt see it on the screen or on gauge, is this how its supposed to look?

Do you have a global folder that you can load before you started having problems. With other systems I have had I have had them go corrupt and do funny things. I back everything up now

hmm maybe thats what it was idk lol. im goin to dig into it more this weekend, i still cant figure out why my afr is fluctuating so bad, can someone show me what it should look like on a pic of there log or something, cause on mine the target is a straight line and the actual is 2 above to 2 below very rapidly, i cleaned the map sensor and it didnt help, also alot of the time at idle it starts surging and eventually dies sometimes.

When I said map I mean fuel map
I will see if I canfind a good log.

I really think a stock fuel map will fix 90% of the issue unless you have a mechanical issue

There is somethings that you need to set up in 7 but it will work. Look on Holleys site.

The no cam sensor is batch. But does take a cam sensor error if you have one away.
