Raise your dwell time..
Change from the generic Lsx 24x setting to custom, the set it to 24x and 1x cam sensor for an ls1

Then try about 5ms to start

And if its not an Lsx engine in those vehicles, just set it to the appropriate crank and cam sensors and up the dwell time a bit...

how long after it sees RPM on the lap top does it start. Mine 24x is very quick. Dads 58x is a little slow to see RPM and dosn't start as good. Working on his right now it is getting better but just not quite there.

I just changed the dwell from 2.2 to 5. I didn't realize that it sets itself to 2.2 when you do the custom crank cam.

Car starts much quicker. I was able to turn the crank fuel way down. One thing I also found is it starts quicker in batch fire. I have a intermittent cam error on startup. Need to look at this more also.

Overall it looks like the 24x still starts a touch quicker. Seems to get sync just a touch faster

thats odd.. because a 58x/4x needs less time to sync than a 24x/1x does
sounds like something is not quite right.
I'm sure you will figure it out.

I have a 1x cam wheel on it

I know 58 should be better. I am going to be in BG with it in two weeks going to see if they can look at it.

My 24 fires just clicking the key. The sync is just faster for some reason

the 1x is your issue...
it still takes time to sync a 1x...and because you have a 58x crank...it takes a little bit longer

a 58x/4x is fast, but a 58x/1x is always slow
