Default irradic timing at idle ?

Hello all ,,,,,,,I have a problem with My idle , it fluctuates by about 100 rpm's and it died once ,,,,,,,,runs perfect off idle . First started happening a while back and there was a code 4 the cam sensor circuit ,,,,,,so I took the cam sensor plug off and it looked like 1 of the wires was a little compromised so I repaired it with no change ,,,,,,the code stayed off ,,,,,,,a month or so later a code 4 the cam sensor itself ,,,,,,,so I tried a new sensor which helped but did'nt completely fix it . Also with the more recent code was a code 4 the secendary air ,,,,,so I took the diaphrams off and the stainless flaps were open a little so I took them off and made them flat again with no change ,,,,,,,,checking with a scan tool the only thing that is happening is the timing fluctuates at idle from about 3 or 4 deg to 15 and sometimes as high as 25 . So what would cause this ? Maybe the crank sensor

I believe the timing advance fluctuation is normal ... it's easier and quicker for the pcm to change timing than it is to change any other parameter ... it does this to try and maintain a consistent idle speed ... good luck!
