New SLP MAF
I hear a lot of stuff about aftermarket MAF's and i just want to know, i just got a new 85 mm SLP MAF and do i need to tune it with a programmer or is it just plug and play and ready to go?

'01-'02 version should be pretty neutral to mixture
and load-based functions like A4 shifting and spark.
Of the aftermarket 85mm MAFs, it is as close to "plug
and play" as it gets. Probably close enough, mine was.
Until I started filing on it.
'98-'00 version may put you leaner and lighter, and
on an '01-'02 car is not so well tolerated. You can
tune the PCM for it or you can do simple hard hack
tuning as some of my posts here go into.
