How to dyno an auto 4wd truck?
Truck is in sig.
There is a warning sticker under the hood that says not to put the vehicle on a 2wd dyno because of the auto 4x4.
Can I get around this by simply unplugging the solenoid on the front diff carrier housing? There must be a way around this.
Thanks

sounds dangerous to put it in a 2wd dyno, especially with a warning sticker from the factory...must be good reason for that
Not any local 4wd dynos?
I know there are some in texas for sure. Theres a pretty big following down there for 3000gt vr4s and dodge stealth tt's. I used to hear of people dyno-ing them on the old forum I used to be on, because I owned a dodge stealth.
I swear some of the people tha ran em were in or around houston too
PM me if you want, I can shoot you the link to a local 4wd dyno shop, I dont wanna get in trouble for posting it here

I confirmed with my tuner (Pat G) that leaving the selection on "2Hi" is ok for testing on a 2WD dyno. He has done this in the past without problems.
