Default Flashing Check Engine Light

Well guys, I just got back from some driving in my car. I was going through the gears shifting at 6k and ended at around 100mph. After that I drove for a mile or so then my check engine light flashed a few times then went away. As of right now its not on at all but I have not had it scanned yet. Any ideas what this could be? I recently did a heads and cam swap but this is the first time I have seen this. Thanks in advance!

The car seemed to run fine and wasnt doing anything funky. If it was a misfire why wasn't that stored in the pcm and the light still on?

Im pretty sure the misfire code resets itself if it doesnt keep detecting it. Did you miss any shifts or anything?

Nope, thats whats weird. It drove just like it has every other time minus the flashing check engine light about a minute after hard acceleration. I didn't hear or feel anything out of the ordinary.

For ***** and giggles, I would check my plugs and wires. Might have a loose plug wire that lost connection under just the right conditions.

I checked a plug and wire, both checked out fine. Check the grounds on both heads and the two on the bottom sides of the block and they were good. Changed fuel filter as well. Is there any chance the fuel pump is going out? Or is it possible the tune had something to do with it and got worse over time?
