You could probably squeeze out some top end, the
limit is how hard you want to push the stock valve
train. Personally I don't care to go over a 6250 rev
limiter which means about 6100RPM shift settings
and MPH a bit below that. I have been running around
with 42, 82, 125MPH and it might be I could get a
bit closer to RPM but I haven't bothered. Your final
tweak depends on converter, what you do to shift
times, etc. - how much "windage" do you need to
get your business done before the RPMs climb past
the rev limiter?
Going much higher would risk valvetrain problems without
much to gain as the stock powerband is fading fast.
