Idle Issues

When I start my car, it cranks fine and starts right away. But dies immediately. After a mile or so of driving, it is idling around 300rpm but keeps trying to die.It does drive like normal, just simple trys to die. Battery is new and the volt gauge reads normal. Any thoughts? I don't think it is the alt either. Car is a 2000 ws6, no major modifications.

There are literally maybe 20 or more possibilities . The most likely areas to look at are fuel pressure caused by worn pump or clogging fuel filter or a worn out fuel pressure regulator , or TPS , or MAF or any # of electrical problems ,,,,,,,,etc ,,,,,,,,,,,,Hope this helps,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,You decide to take it somewhere !

Check for basics first. Vacuum leaks, PCV valve clogged shut?, any codes? make sure that all of the plug wires are on and tight and not resting on a header or burnt
