help with PCM for a 2006 impala ss

help with PCM for a 2006 impala ss im new to LS1TECH, not sure if this is the right spot for this. i bought a 5.3 lsx motor with a few extra goodies and a harness that was in a 2006 impala ss for $650 but it didnt come with the PCM. what i need to know is what PCM will work with this motor or if i should just buy a new one for a impala. Help would be greatly appreciated(:
IIRC, the 06 Impala SS uses a E40 PCM while most 5.3L trucks use the E38 (Gen 4) or the P59 (GEN 3), neither one of them are a direct swap.
A 03-06 truck PCM (P59) will work but you also need the harness from same vehicle.
I think the easiest solution is to buy a E40 PCM with matched T42 TCM, unless you can buy a custom harness and a 03-06 truck PCM (or make one yourself)
