Predator Programer ????????????? I recently purshase a Predator Programer. Installed tune and adjusted shift pressure/rev limit and was impressed at how it made the Transmission on my 2002 A4 T/A Convertiable shift harder. Also tried advancing timming a little. but put back because it did not seem to make a difference.
I took it to the track and found no difference in the ET's or 60 ft. While at the track I uninstalled the Predator tune/Put back to factory an ran sane times. Do you think my Mod's hendered the predator?
(lid & K&N filter/tb-bypass/160 stat/SLp cold air/ported MAF)
when i got home the next day I tried to install the tune and got the following ERRORS...
-File Integerty Error-
-Error Performance File Not Found-
-Vin Not Found-
-Vehicle Has Data Error Do you Want To Restore-
It did let me restore back to factory. I seem to be getting the run around so far from Tonnocover & Granetelli. I am going to contact Granetelli one more time being I spent over $ 400.00 on something that has not done much for my car.
I believe that the problem lies in the Predator Program.
Anybody ever have same problem and did/will Granetelli Warranty/Support their product?
Can the Predator be checked/repaired via tha internet???
I only write because I have gotten so much help from the people on LS1Tech.

The Predator Programmer is made by Diablosport, not Granetelli (sp?).

Granatelli though is "co-branding" and selling a Predator
version bundled with a GMAF. If it's one of these then
GMS is the vendor and deserves the burden of service
after the sale.

mine locked up on me and i sent the predator back to diablo sport and they took care of it. it was my mistake though. yes with ported maf ends u need a custom tune im sure it leaned u out too much. i would send it back and leave a note in there of your mods and then i bet it will be better. with ported ends on an auto u have to have it tuned real good or your shift pressures are gonna be F***ed
