timing n tune how much timing is everyone running on their ls1 5.7 with an Texas Speed Magic Stick 4 239/242 .649/.609 Camshaft, heard someone one say 31 degrees sound like a lot
i'm changing my tuning because im wanting to run a timing retard box, it will be a mail order tuning till i can get it to the chassis dyno this spring

With that agreessive cam, a lot of air is being pushed in and out.. I would say 31 is a little bit much unless you have a huge exhaust matched to that cam.. 27/28 is more common.
