Car doesn't want to start after new heads and fuel filter
Just like it says. I put on some new absolute 5.3's and changed my fuel filter. Now it takes alot of cranking to start the car. Any suggestions?

I would try loosening the 3 grounds on the back of the drivers head and then retighten them. I just had a ground issue drive me crazy with my cooling fans...the ground was tight but it just wasn't "grounded" well...loosened and retightened and fans work fine. There is also a ground on the passenger side ...by the radiator...make sure it's tight.

Hi Folks
Had a similar problem when I changed my heads and cam. The problem I had was no fuel - the fuel pump was not kicking on. I purged the air from the fuel rails and opened the fuel cap. I also checked my grounds because the fuel gauge was not working. After doing all that the car started, I still don't know what the real problem was but I would bet the grounds. Just my two cents.
