rear 02 sensor delete help

rear 02 sensor delete help does anybody know a way to delete the rear 02 senors besides tuning or 02 simulators, my car gonna run like crap with the ses light on...? about to do a 1.7\8 tsp headers on my 2000 ss please help
You can Re-pin the connectors at the Ecu to make the rears run as fronts, but that seems like more work than you want to do. Easiest way would be to leave the rear 02's in and just turn them off using whatever handheld/tuning software you want to use.

I may be mistaken, but I don't believe you can turn off the O2s with any hand held tuner. I beloved you need HP tuners or EFI live.
Yea you can, if you have a predator you can, or should i say a predator without the latest software update. I had one i used years ago before i got my HPT suite

i am doing a ory too and o2 sims are too high and ii dont got a tuner at at moment that would have to wait would it hurt to just zip tie the connectors and not worry about it other than my ses light on?

i have been running without my rearr 02's since march. Ran fine with the ses light on. Still got 19-23 mpg. I just tuned them both out yesterday with hp tuners that I bought a little while ago. I priced for a tuner to tune them out, it was $100. You can by the simulators for $40 each from Tick Performance.

The rears are really only ensuring the cat's are working. They play no part in fueling. If you do not hook them up you will get a DTC and that's about it. They are really only there for the folks in states that care.
