If you keep a MAF on that large TB and lid setup I tell customers to order a $50 LS3/7 sensor and bolt into a 4" pipe with a saxonpc.com honeycomb screen in front of the sensor. Much cheaper and will support ALOT of power on a NA car.

Thanks, James.

So whats with the honeycomb? I see that in the TSP 100 MAF as well. Whats the purpose of it?

Sometimes the MAF position is close to contours in the pipe and even the throttle blade itself. At low throttle speeds air passes over the top and bottom of the throttle body and naturally creates some turbulence in the intake tract. Placing the honeycomb in front of the MAF sensor straightens the airflow out to help the sensor read consistent airflow and not turbulent airflow. This makes your drivability much better.

If you google that website I posted he has demonstrations with smoke to show the effects of the screens.
