Default Holley EFI use with stock gauges

has anyone installed the Holley EFI to their setup and keeping the stock gauges?
I noticed today when i was installing the kit that the harness doesn't have the connector for the blue and white plug that is underneath the dash on the passenger side.

Also how did you guys install the harness?
I was planning on doing the wire tuck mod but I guess plans will be changing.

My car is a 2002 Camaro with a 6speed. from what it looks like the harness doesn't connect to the transmission either.

If you have Holley HP EFI give me some feedback!!!

Stock gauges will not work with the ECU.

As far as the trans, I think the only ones it can control is 4l60 and 4l80.

so it's either using the Holley touchscreen or run a bunch of gauges??

I don't need to plug any in the t56?

Correct it wasn't designed to run stock gauges. The ECU doesn't need VSS for any control therefore the T56 doesn't need to be connected.

What would be the best way to run power to the headlights and the rest of the stuff that connected to the BCM??

This car is going to be driven on the street not just track

Couldn't you also keep the stock ecu in the car to run the stock gauges?

Some people have piggybacked the BS3 ecu with the stock ecu to run their gages.

If you go with Holley gauges they all use the same signal wire from the HP. You program each one.

thread bump! I sold my Holley HP but I'm thinking about getting another one and getting rid of the stock gauges and running the touch screen gauge. Anyone running this ECU with a 4th gen car yet? If so, did you make a build thread???

I just attended a tuning class at Holley, and you can run some factory gauges. Don't ask me how, I can't remember, but it just has to do with correctly setting up the outputs. If you call tech and talk to one of the guys, I am sure they can explain it. That Dominator can do just about anything. The HP is restricted by no trans controller, and less I/O's.

Aye, just because the harness doesn't have the wires doesn't mean you cannot do it. You are ultimately limited by the # of outputs on the HP. You cuold probably even wire the VSS into the Holley and have it output to the speedo for you.

Yep I agree, it's just not going to be 100% plug and play, but it can run factory gauges with a little work.
