I hope this is the right area for this (I'm new here...) Anyway at WOT it takes off like it is supposed to, but normal driving acts like it wants to stall, it doesn't though. I have replaced the fuel pump and filter as it acted fuel starved, it has new plugs and wires, is getting spark, and 02 sensor it started as a lurch on the highway and has just gotten progressively worse. It is not throwing any codes HELP! TPS sensor with no code? I have no idea.

If anyone is interested, it was the oxygen sensor. I replaced it with an aftermarket bosch, and that is what caused all the havoc. I had to purchase oem... Here is where it gets interesting, there are two types of o2 sensors, titania and zirconium whatever the engine came with cannot be changed, who knew?
1. Count the number of wires on the original sensor.
2. Check the colour of the wires
a. If the sensor has black, grey, purple or white wires, it will be a Zirconia sensor.
b. If the sensor has one red wire (and or yellow) with the possible exception of some
Japanese vehicles, it will be a Titania sensor.
3. If it is a Titania sensor then check the original thread size of the sensor.
* In some applications fitted with three wire Titania oxygen sensors, the output is 0 to 1 volt.
I hope someone else finds this helpful, and may be why Toyota doesn't like bosch ?
