Default LM1-- how to hookup RPM cable

couple questions:

1 do I only need this?
http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...cat=250&page=1

or do I need the inductive pickup too?
http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...cat=250&page=1

Once I get them how do I connect? Just to the RPM/Tach signal off the PCM like my Window Switch?

I'd really like to know this, too. I've been holding off on ordering an LM-1 because I'm unclear on what's needed and it's reliability. I want a solution I can leave installed 24x7 without the risk of damage.

For RPM you just need the top link. The bottom will allow easier hookup to other cars.
