p0402 exhaust gas recirculation excessive detected

i have this code in my ford crown Victoria 4.6

i have got the p0402 .

Q: am also remove the both front CAT . is my car is ok ? or have got problem in EGR vale ot DPEF ?

Most fords its the dpfe should read less than a volt key on engine off

but i have the code while the engine is start ,, not only when engine off .

i think it is because i remove the cat ?

You would have less flow without the cats because of lower backpressure. I was telling you the quick way to test the dpfe if it is not 1+-.5 then its junk.
