Default Turbo Tuning

Specs:
Forged but stock heads/cam(CR ~ 9.5:1)
Single Turbo(currently running 5-6psi)

I did some WOT runs and first time my FP cut out again at around 5500rpm. I did some tuning and then ran again and didnt cut out. However, it does go from about 62psi to 54 and when it drops to 54 about top of 3rd gear, i get a little knock(2-3 degrees) no matter how rich I tune it. Through the rpm range, the AFR is about high 11's to 12.

Also, I have my spark advance to roughly + - 20 degrees across the board. But Autotap shows about 15 degrees spark advance...why? If i set the table to 20-21, why is it showing it running 15??? Could it be the intake air temp: 170's???

I am getting a CAS Regulator, that should help tuning by keeping steady FP, but why is the timing so low I wonder? Time for methanol?

When I mentioned my timing, by across the board, I mean in the appropriate rpm and flow range.

Those IAT's can definitely reduce timing. Check your IAT timing adjustment table.
How are you measuring the AFR?

With your AFR at 12 and below you should be pretty safe with ~15* of timing advance. I think you should fix the fuel pressure problem and then see if it knocks any more. After that you can start pushing the timing toward 20*.
BTW, I am on the verge of getting an LM-1. Can you offer any opinions/comments about yours? TIA

he kr is pulling timing plus the IAT map in ls1edit shows how much to pull as the IAT goes up. Fix the fuel pressure problem. Are you SURE the a/f doesn't rise when you are getting kr?

Yeah its the FP problem that is mostly the culprit. As soon as I get the FP Regulator I will post results...

The wideband is great, a must!!!!!

The IAT is really high though, so I will probably be getting a methanol kit to cool it down...
