Default cam sensor testing?

im running a msd6010 ignition but uses stock cam sensor so testing should be the same. getting cam sensor fail code form the ignition.

replaced sensor same problem

I have 12v on pink wire which is sensor feed.

8 volts on brown/white which is signal.

does this sound right?

thanks.

Look at the connector
A == Signal
B == ground = low reference
C == switched power = reference voltage = ignition = 12V
