Default Whats wrong

My friend has 04 ZO6 and just got a g5x3 cam only installed by andy at A&A he has blackwing and lg long tubes he put 421 to the ground and car ran strong. Now when he punches it at around 3k rpm it has a little sputter and then around 4k it clears up and pulls like a mother. We just changed the plugs and they look good. we just took it out and the car threw a code p0116 we know it has something to do with coolant sensor but could that have anything to do with it? When just cruising around it runs great problem is only when he floors it and only happens around 3k and then clears up it almost feels like it is getting rich and then clears up and goes. bty when car was dynoed and tuned a/f was 13:1 across the board problem just started yesterday only thing that is different is weather is hotter.

this actually my car, my friend was kind enough to post this for me, but anyways i guess no one really seems to care about this, and actually my car is now running worse, i put on the dyno to see what the a/f readings were the car is very lean, never any lower then 13.6, before when dyno tuned it was right around 13.0-12.9 across the board, i dont understand how it can all of a sudden change, now the car is sputtering anything past part throttle , i am very confused, any help would be great, i am not even driving the car, because i am afraid that it being so lean it might nuke a piston.

i have already swapped plugs and check the wires, but if that was the case why would it clear up on the top end, all of a sudden it gets really lean between 3.5k to 4k, and then richens up a little bit so it can pull on the top, the reason i know this is because i put it on the dyno to see what the a/f was doing
