Default flex fuel injector confusion

i need a little help figuring out what my injector settings should be... there 36# flex fuel injectors from a 09+ silverado. on a nnbs silverado the fuel system is returnless. which cuases the ifr table to be variable. now my 99 has a return system. i found a few spreadsheets that let you type in what all your settings are and what not, but even those are variable. do i just use those or is there just one number i need?

If you are running a return style system that is regulated from intake pressure, then the flow rate should be the same across the IFR table. I don't know anything about these injectors though, so I'm not sure what they should be set at.

You said 36#, at what pressure are they rated 36#?

I don't know the answer but what I come up with is 41.5 for all cells. I came to this from inputting the 36# and 3 bar into a conversion calculator to give me flow rate at 4 bar (58 psi) which I believe is the standard differential pressure for a vacuum regulated return system.

Glad I wasn't lying to you.

You don't really need the whole spreadsheet, the return regulator keeps differential pressure at 4 bar so you can just figure what the flow rate is at 4 bar and enter that value in all the cells.

alright, im still having trouble converting the gen 4 to gen 3 injectors, the tables dont ecatly match up from a 2010 silverado to my 02 pcm. im just lost in the math.... we tried 41 like my spreadsheet showed but it was way lean. but at 34 ifr it was close. so im just a little confused. should the ifr vs voltage vs map be changed? if so where can i find those values if the 2010 tune doesnt have the same tables.

What is the number on the injectors? should be an 8 digit number I believe right on the side of the injector.

well at first i was using injector data from a 2009 silverado, after doing some reasearch i found out i should be using data from a 2011. the numbers changed so much between tunes it threw everything off. then i found a ls3 to ls1 spreadsheet that converted the ls3 type data into the ls1 style. it works now!

What were the final numbers that worked for the '11 injectors?

Bumping this old thread. How do you convert injector data from returnless to return style fuel systems? Where are these spread sheets you guys are talking about?
