E38 vs E67

E38 vs E67 EDIT: I meant E40 not E38. Oops.
Ok I did some searching and all I've found is people using the E67 but nothing saying why. I've read in a few places that it is the best GM computer to use, to include one tuning book that claims he would use nothing else in a GM up to 1000hp.
Why?
I assume it just has more parameters to play with? For example, if I remember right, the E40 can only recognize up to a 58lb injector. The E67 recognizes a wider range?
