Default Open Loop EQ Ratio change

Most all reading I've done say to command Open Loop and change columns 140 through 248* to 1.00 in the Open Loop F/A vs Cooling Temp vs MAP table which will force the PCM to command stoich (14.7). Then it says to return all your adaptive fuel tables back to stock including the Open Loop F/A vs Cooling Temp vs MAP table. Now, by doing this wouldn't it throw off the tuning you just did, OR do you leave this table as changed?

In case it matters, this is for a 2bar OS.

There are things you do to get a useful reading, which
are different than you'd want to drive around with. The
purpose behind what you talk about, may be some of
that.

Why you'd go back entirely to stock, I couldn't guess.
It would defeat any tuning you did, to that particular
piece.

Just because things are written and repeated does not
mean you should believe them.

Thank you very much for clearing that up. I've read a lot of your post and place your tuning knowledge amongst the best. I found out first hand about how doing that fu#$& up what you just worked so hard on.

You should check out THIS recent thread, it goes into a little more detail on the subject.

Great read Bowtie316. Thread had really good tuning advise which makes a lot of sence. There's a few things in there that I wasn't doing.
