Trying to get IAC counts back at hot idle
I have ran into a problem that is being a pain to get rid of. I have searched around and found a few posts about this, but no real solutions. To get the car to start good cold I need to open the throttle blade up to almost .65 volts from .5. The problem is when the car gets up to temp at idle my IAC counts work their way down to zero and the car will idle over the set idle of 850.
So what I am experimenting with is taking the timing down enough that I can get about 20 IAC counts at hot idle and still keep the throttle blade open enough that it starts good cold. My idle timing is down from 20 degrees to 6.
Is there anything that I could be missing?
My VE is dialed in really close, and I am running in SD mode.

It sounds like you have some other tables off in the tune. Post or email me your tune and i'll take a quick look. If you have a couple tables off it could easily affect start up cold and hot. 20 counts at hot idle is a lot lower than I shoot for.
