showing code P0101 my car is speed density tuned but it has been throwing this code lately. I cleared the code and it appeared again after 60 miles. I thought the maf was turned off when tuned. I don't know much about tuning so I apologize if this is a stupid question but why would it be showing the code?

You are correct, its P0102 not P0101 if the maf is unplugged. I'm going to edit my previous post with the correct number.
