Cool HPT changing gear ratio

I have changed rear ends in car. I have a question about tire height, is it from center or top of tire ?

tire height is the outside diameter of the tire.

ok understand that, but how in the hell do I change it ? The help says 99 and newer, mines a 98. Does this mean I can't change it?
ok dia is 27.1 and ratio is 3.50 so what do I input ?
Box on left is greyed out can't change, I'm sure thats where tire size goes

98 Speedometer tab says Tire/Gear. That means Tire Height divided by the Gear Ratio. You have to do some math. Do you remember your goesintos from school? Do the math and enter the result in the box.

Just a note, if you measure tire height from floor to
top tread there will be a small error fromthe bottom
being flat. Me, I like to drive onto and wrap a tape
measure all around the tire and divide by pi.

Probably just talking a few %, but still may as well
be accurate if you're going to the trouble.
