all the ground are tight. I even made sure all the grounding points & knock sensor points where clean & paint free while the engine was on the stand. I was sure the cranking issue had something to do with the PCM. now I know it has for a fact. its a 08 Silverado e38. thanks.

I had some help but I may have it figured out. I've made the changes and will load the tune in the morning. I'll let you know what I find out and if it works

Reloaded my tune after fixing the issue and its working fine now, no wanting to die or anyother idle issues. I went into to idle, then airflow at that point went into Idle Airflow minimum vs airflow vs gear. Bumped the numbers up slightly in all gears (4l60e) 1000 rpm and 1200 rpm. No more keeping my foot on the pedal when coming to a stop sign or just slowing down. Thats a load off my mind, when it did die you loose your brakes and steering. Now its all good.
