Default LS Stroker EFI

Before i get flamed, I looked around a bit and didn't see an answer.

I'm looking to pick up an LQ4 tomorrow and want to put on a 402/408 stroke kit before I mate it to my '70 Camino. It's coming out of a 2006 Silverado. Can the stock ECU be reprogrammed to handle all the air that will be coming in on the stroker? I know Nissans can handle it, but I I've got no experience with Chevy ECMs. I am looking at aftermarket tuning programs for the stock ECU. I realize I will probably have to get a new MAF.

You are not even close to maxing out the capabilities of the stock ECU. People do boosted applications in excess of 14 lbs just fine with the stock ECU and upgraded components such as MAP and MAF sensors.

You can go with a bigger MAF or even go without one and tune in speed density.

Your major limiting factor with the GM PCMs is the 8000RPM hard firmware limit. If that's even a realistic limit. With a Custom OS from HPTuners or EFILive you can get up to 3 Bar I believe which is close to 30psi and WAY more than most would need on the street or even the strip.

I finally found a deal on an LQ4, go to pick it up and everything looks OK. Get it home, start taking it apart and I find this:

I'm pretty sure the ******* new about it and purposely didn't disclose. Is there any possible way to salvage this iron block?

I don't think it would be worth the cost of fixing it...

was returned to seller for full refund...
The car is apart right now. I'm looking for the source of water pooling in the floorpans. I'll then be patching some pinhole ruse in the drivers side seat pan and then applying POR-15 along with Second Skin Spectrum coating and Luxury Liner Pro. It seems to be collecting water from condensation from what I can tell. It's in a covered carport, but I find the passenger side footwell moist from time to time. Any ideas?
