Fuel surging I done a cam swap on my 00" siverado 5.3.
Cam is a 222/224, I had the trucked tuned by a buddy that has hp tuners, but the fuel is surging at start up when the truck is warm.. It takes it a min to catch fuel and hold idle. Any suggestions on what could cause this problem.?

Idle MAP is up, indexing you into more enrichment in
the EQ vs ECT vs MAP table that you run on until you
enter closed loop. Over-enrichment makes the motor
"soggy" and destabilizes the idle. Have your buddy look
at what MAP you idle at and make sure you have EQ
values of 1.0 there. You might also have him play with
idle-range spark advance and clean the overspeed /
underspeed tables up, being sure to leave room for
them to do their job.
