Ok, I pulled the instrument cluster and B6 was a purple wire (Im assuming since I have the 99+ Cluster the color of the wire wouldn't matter, should still be the Data wire) So I spliced into it and ran it to Pin #2 on the DLC and still nothing. I even tried running it to pin K on the C230 connector and still nothing...
Why am I having so much trouble!?

Best to start you own thread, rather than hijack this one. FlyinMiata also has all the information that you'll need...I'd contact (and did on mine) them to get you headed in the right direction.

What about the wiring on the pass side kick panel 98 have 3 connectors, 99+ only have 2, anyone know how to rewire them, it probably be the easiest way I have diagrams of the differences just unsure how to go about it

ok so if i swap the 98 gauge cluster out for a 99-02 cluster, the speedo should work with the 99-02 PCM correct? just double checking before i drop $$ on a cluster that might not fix my issue lol
