Broadcast code problem? (messed up PCM?) Please help
Broadcast code problem? (messed up PCM?) Please help I have a 99 Trans-AM at one point my PCM was replaced (Loong story). When I read the PCM my broadcast code is now DAPA instead of the original CWJP. Now my findings are that this is a 2000 broadcast code and not a 99's. It says its a 1999 but I have never seen another 99 with that code. I have been comparing a few things and there are some differences. Does anybody see a problem with this? It has been tuned by a few people and I just want to start fresh with a dealer reflash but I dont know if this will screw anything up and if I will have to reset my cable (I will e-mail Ken).

can't help w/this situation as I'm not sure...
but on a side note... what's the purpose of the broadcast code? I noticed on one of my PCMs it is CWJP but on another it's DANW ... i changed it to MIKE cause I wanted my name in it heh (but I can't flash it cause I don't have a full PCM flasher ... oh well maybe that's a good thing?)
