I have a L59 5.3 still running EFI from a 2002 Tahoe in a 73 Nova. When I bought the engine, the guys flashed the PCM for the TH350 non electronic tranny and removed the wires in the harness that went to the old 4L60e.

Would I use something such as HP Tuner to flash the PCM and essentially flip that switch, for lack of the correct terminology, back on if I wanted to go back to the 4L60e?

What keywords should I be searching for when trying to find this type of information related to the PCM controlling an electronic tranny versus cutting that logic off to coexist with a non electronic tranny?

I'm just trying to understand what they did to make it work and what the process would be to undo what they did.

The process would be to have them,or somebody, reflash the PCM with a 4L60E calibration.

We can flash it back to a 4l60e if your wanting to go back to a 4l60e.
