Default who has relocated the PCM inside the car?

I just did my HVAC delete panel and have tossed around the Idea of relocating the PCM on to the backside of that panel under the dash. Anyone done this? are the wires long enough or is this a wiring mess cutting and splicing?

Jacktuner- it's a 98-02 fbody. I did most of it yesterday just figuring things out myself. So far I have not cut and spliced any wires and the computer is laying inside just not mounted yet. I ran the harness that's normally ontop of your pass fender, down the frame rail next to the engine where your heater core coolant lines used to run. I had to pull the wire loom off and seperate some things up behind the headlight area but nothing serious. The only issue with not making the harness longer is you litterally have 2" of wire for slack inside the car. All you can do is flip the PCM up and bolt it to the firewall. No choice to mount it where it's way out of the way. Trying to figure out a good way to hold it down so it's not bouncing all over right now.

here is the firewall side so far. notched the bottom of the block off plate for the pass. side harness and wires that go down toward the starter. used a 1-1/2" hole saw and made a hole for the engine harness right near the edge. wrapped the wires that go down by the starter in heat resistant wrap since they touch the header. been this way for 5 years no problems yet. thinking about running those wires between the header and the block now that you actually could with the computer moved.

Just finished making some brackets out of 1/8" steel to hold the PCM to the backside of the block off plate. used the existing bolts for the plate so there is no bolts hanging out in the engine bay side. took the PCM cover bolts out that hold the aluminum case together and bought longer bolts so they would stick out far enough to use them for mounting to the brackets. I had to trim the bottom dash plastic thing that's in the foot well but it all went back together and hides the PCM.
