My car runs very weird. It was never tuned right before I bought it. I am planning on getting it dyno tuned but I wanted to know:
My car shuts off right after start.. I have to hold the accelerator down for about 5 seconds at 2k rpm before it stays on by itself.. what is causing this?
What kind of numbers should I expect with the mods?
Is there anything I should ask for with the tune?
Currently the car doesn't want to rev past 5k rpm.. How high can I raise the rev limiter to with my mods?
My car starts up with a non resistor key copy.. can this be reverted back?
Bear with me as I am a newb in the ls1 world.
Car should dyno ~400rwhp based on what I have seen
The car should go to 6400-6600rpm as long as you have supporting valve springs.
Are you sure it's the tunes rev limiter keeping it from revving, or is a bad tune?
The key thing can be reverted, it's just had VATS disabled.
