Default HP Holley EFI

so, after searching I got tired of looking for an answer on google and HP forums, maybe someone here knows. I just ordered 550-602 kit for my ls1 for my 240 to get this build rolling.

my question is, I am assuming the kit come with a wideband sensor.

1) what do I do with the stock ones? does the harness accommodate stock sensors and if yes do I need to use them with the wideband sensor? how does this setup handle stock oxygen sensors or do I just run the wideband in the rear (or a pair - each header).

2) what about making it work with the Tach and the Speedometer? who is using what with their setup?

thanks!

It uses wide bands, no stock sensors. Far as I know they are included. The ones I have tuned, everything was already installed.

The HP doesnt use a Speedo...
you will need to figure out how to get a speedo going with an aftermarket gauge and sesnor.. I suggest the GPS Speedo's that autometer makes to simplify things

Comes with 1 Wideband o2 sensor...can only use 1 with the HP
you ditch the stock Narrow band sensors...they wont be needed and cant be used with the HP

Tach output comes from pin J1 A28
you can connect it to any aftermarket tach....may need some things setup on the tach itself to work properly

I cant remember if it comes with sensor or not...but I didnt think it came with any of them..I thought it was meant to be used with LS1 sensors....and you can wire it in to use any sensor you want should you need a different style sensor.

i guess ill have to see if its 1 sensor. so in that case should i use it on one of the headers or just use the end of y pipe where the collector connects it in 1?

ill have to get aftermarket tach.... eh

the HP IS ONE SENSOR

put it where ever you feel is the most appropriate for your setup... preferably in a position where it can see exhaust from both sides of the engine...
Just past the Y pipe merge works great.

and yes...aftermarket tach.. I use an Autometer 5" tach...no issues.

What about setting up the Dakota Digital SGI-5 Speedo interface and SGI-8 Tach interface to retain stock units? There are a few forums with posts on how to get this done.

depends on if your Speedo in that car is part of a data stream or if its a standard solo signal all on its own.

Ahaha I recognize that name. Glad you chimed in. Blue so does it feed off the Speed Sensor on the T56?

Did you buy a wideband sensor from Holley? They offer 2 different one's, and are not included with any of their systems.
