Default slp 85mm maf question

Ok, been having some issues with my car. The ses light came on and was able to pull the codes, P 0122 for the tps sensor, and p0102 for low voltage for maf. I replaced the tps sensor but I tried unplugging the maf to see if it runs different and no change. Won't even throw a ses light. Let run for 20 minutes. Is that normal?

Anyone? I should have a ses light and throw codes if I unplug sensors, correct? Unless they was screwed up when it was tuned and they were tuned out?

You don't make much sense. You need to data log it to see what is going on. No one here can tell you what the problem is without seeing a log or the tune.

Basically I'm asking if it's normal to not get codes or a ses light when sensors such as the maf and tps sensors are unplugged.

the codes could be set to not throw a light or fault or they may be set to only throw if it happens a certain number of starts in a row

What would be the purpose of doing that? Faulty maf when it was tuned or tuner couldn't tune with a Slp 85 mm maf like he said?

Maybe the car was tuned for speed density and the maf was only left in for purposes of holding tubes together and he just forgot to disable the low voltage code?

That's possible....... it made me curious and last night I fired it up and unplugged the tps sensor and won't throw a code or ses light either. I guess I need to have the tune looked at. The guy who tuned it said it was tricky for some reason, big cammed car, but he is a reputable tuner who does a lot of cars in my area.
