Wiring 5.3 into fox Ok guys I'm new to this site and new to the ls world had plenty of fox body's but nothing with an ls. As of yesturday I purchased a 5.3 vortec out of a 2000 Yukon it come with the wiring harness and the computer in planning on cam intake springs and have a 7472 Persian turbo going on this think the only thing that I really have a concern about is how the wiring is going to work can I just use the factory computer and harness and not have any problems or does anyone have a link to a page to a diagram to make the harness work just wonder what some of u other guys have done any help would be greatly appreciated
I would search for stand alone ls1 wiring harness conversion or send it in to one of the vendors. I ran newrelays and fuses for mine as it was more simple than trying to integrate with a 20+ year old questionable wiring harness.

Your best bet is to contact Bill at BPAutomotive. He specializes in harnesses just for this.
