Default Easiest cheepest way to disable VATS

SO im gonna be doing a conversion here in the next month or so, and I know turning off vats on a GEN3 requires a reflash. Its gonna be an LQ4 from an 03 or an 04 i think. Its not passkey, i know that, so no cheep fancy box to splice in. I dont wanna spend $500 on software at the moment, I may down the road but right now thats not really gonna be in the budget. So what are the easiest ways to get VATS turned off so I can have a running car?

There are quite a few other things you will want turned off in the PCM calibration on a conversion so the cheapest way would be to find a tuner that has a bench harness and have them flash it with the changes.

Most GM tuners are going to use HP Tuners or EFI Live. HP Tuners is going to have issues with putting a different VIN # in a PCM that the VIN is not valid for. Not sure about EFI Live. I don't use it.

The cheapest and easiest way to eliminate vats is to find someone with unlimited credits like tuner cats for obd2 and ask them to delete it for free.

I can delete vats and put any VIN you want in the pcm. I can do just that or a full mail order tune.
