ls1 sensors on ls2 block...how much did you increase sensitiviy
#2
I also have the LS1 sensors on my LS2 block with a 2002 PCM.
I did not change the sensitivity.
I have logged some KR during track runs and by reducing the timing a bit the KR went away; I therefore decided that the knock sensors were probably working in their LS2 location on the side of the block.
If someone has researched the tested this more thoroughly, I am all ears (no pun intended).

I have a 11.5 CR 418 LS3, using the LS6 knock sensors. I was getting audible spark knock with 24* WOT timing. Yet no knock retard showed on the scan logs.
So I went into the Knock Sensor Global Gain table and multiplied the entire table by .9 at at time to increase the knock sensor sensitivity until spark knock is seen with sensible spark timing, then increased the table by 5%.
I now use 22* WOT spark timing with 94 octane.
