Default 411 ECU, 87 IROC, VSS, 24X Conversion, EFI Live

Alright guys I need some guidance here.
What I know;
1. the IROC speedo has a VSS output on Pin A8 at the ECU from the guage cluster.
2. I know EFI Live does configure the VSS input (411 ECU) to the pulses being received.

Can the ECU be configured to use the VSS output on the back of the IROC's guage cluster? Has anyone done this and does it work?
I'm not looking to add an additional VSS to the output of the mechanical speedo (Stock T-5 5 speed) if this is available to use?
