Question on gray wire from tps or ect to trans

Question on gray wire from tps or ect to trans I was pulling apart a harness from a truck and there was a gray wire spliced and one end to the pcm and the other to the trans. Can someone provide more insight on that wire? I've been searching and can't seem to find a schematic anywhere
To get help you need to tell which year/model, pin number and all the information you can provide. There are a lot of gray wires
However, you are lucky that I know truck harnesses from memory. That wire is the sensor ground for both the Engine Coolant Temp and Transmission Fluid Temp sensors.
You can find it in all wiring diagrams. It goes from PCM pin 41 (blue connector) to both sensors.
