Holley HP EFI Wideband Bouncing
I have the Holley HP EFI and it was tuned on the dyno. Car runs great at full throttle. I went to turn the Closed Loop Learn on and work on the driveability because I get a low rpm surge and a slight hiccup when flat stabbing the throttle.
When I went to turn the learn on I noticed the wideband gauge in the software was bouncing from Lean to Rich very fast.
Do I have a bad sensor. Its the Bosch one. The dyno was over 6 months ago and the sensor worked fine then.
Anything I should be looking for here?
Thanks

If it's surging at idle then the wideband readings might be valid. You may need to flatten out the fuel map to correct the lean spot. Sounds like it just needs some additional tuning.

The surge isn't at idle. just low rpm driving, under 2K rpm.
The wideband shows min then max with Closed loop off.....
just going to both extremes while idling or driving. The car runs and drives fine.
I can post a video later. its really odd

Video of the wideband flaking out...
look about 35 seconds in and you can see how it acts all the time

Seems odd, does it always take a little while to start bouncing back and forth from lean to rich? Seems almost like the sensor or wiring might be damaged or you could very well have a ground issue
In your System setting do you have the BOSCH sensor selected?

Yea Bosch sensor is selected in tune.
On a cold start like that I haven't had the laptop connected in a while. I just tried drivability the other day after it was warmed up and the bouncing is all I saw

I I haven't seen a flickering issue like that however, I would suggest you save your current tune and and upgrade software 2.2.0.3 and load firmware (587.eep). Reload your tune, tps autoset and post if any changes result. I would also thoroughly check (tug test) the connections on the connector and wbo2 sensor.

ok, some nasty thunderstorms coming tonite so I'll give it a shot tomorrow.
I have the plug where the pigtail meets the harness ziptied to the K-member mount so it can't be pulled in either direction. But will unplug and replug it in.
